The general manager of the PEM Engineering Center, focusing on mechatronics, has been engaged in the design of hydrogen production equipment and industrial electrical automation control systems for 28 years. • Responsible for the formation of the PEM technical team. In 2022, lead the team to conquer the first megawatt-scale industrial PEM electrolyzer in Guangdong Province, and its performance will reach the industry-leading level.
Dr. Hou graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology, and studied under the famous fuel cell instructor. After graduation, Dr. Hou has worked for many years in international famous fuel cell pioneers and OEMs, and has accumulated rich experience in both technology R&D and product development. She used to be the technical director of Ballard China, the technical director of SPIC Hydrogen Energy Company, and the hydrogen energy strategic planning director of the Great Wall Motor XEV fuel cell project team. Prior to returning to China, Dr. Hou had many years of industry experience at Ballard Vancouver and AFCC Vancouver, as well as fuel cell startups in Silicon Valley.
